One Word a Day: Sharing My Story for Homes Not Borders
Recently, I had the opportunity to share my story, “One Word a Day,” at Imagination Stage as part of an event supporting Homes Not Borders.
Telling my story onstage was deeply personal. I shared a little about my journey as an immigrant and the small steps that helped me keep moving forward. I hope that hearing it may encourage someone who is starting over to keep going, one day at a time.
I’m grateful to Homes Not Borders, the event organizers, the other storytellers, and everyone who came to listen. I was glad to donate my time and make a contribution to support the organization’s work.
